Save Properly:
We will need to review and change and review and
change and review and change until our heads explode.
If you save over the top of the same document
you WILL eventually have a problem. You may want
to reference something from a previous version
of your opening statement, closing, etc. To make
sure you do not replace previous versions when
saving PLEASE follow the rules below:
Always save a copy into the appropriate folder within Google Docs. Do not just leave the document in the home section of Google Docs. You should have
a very clear method of saving, to make sure your
method is understandable to everyone else in the
class please memorize the following saving guide:
Your file/document’s name should be as follows:
Prosecution-Opening-Draft3-DM (author's intitals)
Defense-Direct-Ives-Draft4-DM-IL (author's intitals, witness intials) (use only the last name of witness)
Prosecution-Cross-Ives-Draft6-DM (author's intitals) (use only the last name of witness)
Defense-Closing-Draft7-DM (author's intitals)
Prosecution-Witness-Weaknesses-Draft8-DM (author's intitals)
Defense-Witness-Sketch-Draft8-DM (author's intitals)
Timeline-DM (author's intitals)
SWT-DM (author's intitals)
EMatrix-DM (author's intitals)
These may seem like “duhs” but it
is key that the entire class is on the same page.
Note: No space between Draft and the Number: Draft8 not Draft 8.
The next time you open your file to make changes,
make sure you rename the file with the new draft number.
