Youth and Law is intended
to provide a practical perspective on the legal
realities that everyone faces in their daily lives.
The course is designed to study specific aspects
concerning laws and how it applies to students
in today’s society. The course will help
the student understand the ideas, processes, and
values associated with our legal system. Knowledge
is most valuable when you can use it. Youth and
Law will help you learn how to use law to improve
your life. Throughout the semester you will be
given practical legal information and then be
asked to apply it to real life situations. Finally,
there are many careers within the field of law.
From attorneys, to judges, to police officers
there are a wide variety opportunities after you
have completed high school.
